Overview

Project Parachute is a collaboration between NUS Care Unit (NCU) and the Pro Bono Group, aiming to work together to provide help and legal support to sexual assault survivors. We also aim to educate NUS students on their legal rights concerning the issue of sexual assault. We plan to promote access to justice for sexual assault survivors through research for brochures and frontline volunteering – acting as a pillar for the students and guide them through any legal processes and challenges. Through our project, we hope members can not only become better versed with the legal aspects concerning sexual assault, but to also become people with strong sensitivities and empathy towards others!
