Law.Com Dictionary

The NUS Pro Bono Group was established in February 2005 with a view to cultivate the spirit of pro bono in the NUS Faculty of Law. The Group creates and sources out opportunities for law students to meet the many legal needs in society. Hence our motto – “To inform. To involve. To inspire.” On average, a new Pro Bono opportunity is introduced every 2-3 weeks. Check out the sidebar for upcoming Projects and Events.

For organizations

The NUS Pro Bono Group opens and maintains channels between organizations that require assistance with legal matters and law students who would like to volunteer their legal knowledge and skills. Some of our current partner organizations include the Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL), the Association of Women for Action & Research (AWARE), and the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS). Students’ involvement in projects varies from research to sessions at legal clinics to raising legal awareness among specific groups of society.

If you belong to an organization that would like to collaborate on a project with us, don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to hear from you.
